Free Government Caregiving Training Program in Bangladesh The Accelerating and Strengthening Skills for Economic Transformation (ASSET) Project is offering a fully government-funded caregiving training program to equip unemployed youth with practical caregiving skills and create employment opportunities both in Bangladesh and abroad. The training is implemented through the National Institute of Population Research and Training (NIPORT) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, in collaboration with Regional Population Training Institutes (RPTIs) and Regional Training Centers (RTCs). Training Duration 3 months (360 hours) Eligibility Criteria Age: 18 to 45 years Open to both men and women Women, persons with disabilities, and members of ethnic minority communities receive priority Training Cost Completely free of charge All expenses are borne by the Government of Bangladesh Financial Support (Subject to Competency Achievement) Both the monthly stipend and transportation allowance are provided only to trainees who are declared competent based on performance and attendance. Monthly Training Allowance General trainees: BDT 1,500 per month Women, persons with disabilities, and ethnic minority trainees: BDT 2,000 per month Transportation Allowance Up to BDT 100 per training day Maximum BDT 2,500 per month Certification Upon successful completion of the course and competency assessment conducted through the National Skills Development Authority (NSDA), trainees receive an official government certificate.
