Description:

Main Heading & Slopes Caregiving Training: Caregiving training brings employment opportunities home and abroad. Motto 1: Only one goal—must be skilled, will be employed. Motto 2: Quality care, bond of love; Let's build a healthy and honorable life. Status: Free Caregiving Training – Admission Going On! Class Start Date: Classes start on May 2. Project Overview The government is providing employment-oriented vocational training completely free of charge through the ASSET project. The goal is to transform the youth demographic—who are currently out of education, training, and employment—into a skilled workforce through short-term training and assist them in entering dignified careers. As part of this initiative, short-term training on NSDA-approved Caregiving is being conducted through various Regional Population Training Institutes (RPTI) and Regional Training Centers (RTC) under the National Institute of Population Research and Training (NIPORT), which is under the Health Education and Family Welfare Division of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Key Benefits Duration: Completely government-funded 3-month or 360-hour training course. Eligibility: Anyone aged between 18 and 45 years can participate. Monthly Allowance: Subject to becoming "Competent", general trainees receive 1,500 BDT per month, while female, disabled, and ethnic minority trainees receive 2,000 BDT per month. Conveyance Allowance: Subject to becoming "Competent", a daily transport allowance of maximum 100 BDT (up to 2,500 BDT monthly) is provided. Priority: Women, underprivileged groups, and persons with disabilities are given priority. Certification: Government certificates are awarded upon skills assessment through NSDA after training completion.
